(a) Whether there is any proposal for concurrent evaluation of welfare schemes;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) to what extent concurrent evaluation of schemes will increase the efficiency and quality of outcome of all rural development schemes?
ANSWER

(SHRI PRADEEP JAIN ‘ADITYA’)
(a) & (b): The Ministry organizes concurrent evaluation on regular basis of all rural development schemes through independent research organisations.
(c): Concurrent Evaluations bring out the strengths and weaknesses of schemes, which would help increase in the efficiency and quality of outcome of rural development schemes.
